HELP. It's kinda painful to feed my LO on this breast, and I looked down earlier today and saw this. Any clue what it is???

Work on baby's latch  on that side. Lanolin and gel pads are awesome

That happened to me as well the first week. I always after every single feeding now apply nipple cream, I've tried Medela, and currently using Lansinoh's they both work great, I've even heard refined coconut oil works great too. Good luck.

Well, it fell off this morning! I guess blood just pooled to the piece last night!

just looks like dried blood to me! put lanolin on it :)

Lanolin and hydrogel pads. I had that my first week breastfeeding and I decided to give that nipple a break by only pumping on it for an entire day and a half (helped stock some milk as well) which really helped heal that nipple. Than make sure you get the right latch!
