New to this app

My name is Alissa and I just turned 20! I was on birth control for 4 years straight because I was sexually active but now I'm not. Sooo I'm off birth control completely and I feel like my body is definetely detoxing. My periods are really crazy and heavy. Last month I got my period twice which freaked me out. I guess after 4 years of not having a period, I completely forgot how periods are. Has anyone else ever completely got off birth control after being on it for so long?
