Ungrateful Women (baby shower gifts)

I'm putting this in CC because I want both sides of the debate to be seen... from the pregnant women to the women who just ends up having to attend baby showers.

I have seen SO MANY women complain about baby shower gifts! No gift receipts, not what they wanted, wrong model, not their style, not off the registry or getting mad that people bought doubles.... one women even made a comment about constantly checking her registry to see what she's getting before hand... what?!

Why are these women so ridiculous?! Whatever happened to just being grateful?! You're complaining about someone else spending THEIR money on YOUR child when they really don't have too!

And before I get backlash on this, I am pregnant, I am having a shower and I wouldn't exchange anything. I got doubles, who cares! I had a small shower for my first son, 7 years ago and i didnt return anything. The only thing I can imagine taking back would be a big item that you got two of (bassinet, stroller, swing, crib) I mean am I wrong?

Should these women be more grateful or what they are doing is completely fine in your eyes?
