I'm torn
My husband is in the Army. He just called me and said there's an opportunity for a Voluntary deployment to Cuba in May. He would be gone for 9 months.
He's at an army school and won't be back until May 6th then he would leave again May 15th if he decided to go.
We are having our first baby in August. I don't want him to miss out on the birth of our daughter. I don't want him to miss out on the first 6 months of her life. I don't want him to leave.
But at the same time, it's good money and we need that money and it will give him a lot of experience.
I just started bawling at work. Has anyone here had their SO miss out on the birth of their child?? How did you feel about it
