Chiro says he can send me into labor?

Have any of you ladies had an adjustment that sent you into labor? My chiro says he can if I'm interested.. I declined but I'm feeling ready more lately.

Wish my chiro wld help out. She told me she wldnt because she doesn't want to be responsible if something was to happen. Same when I get a massage. Supposedly they can massage something in your foot to help get you started.

I went to my chiro once a week the last two months of pregnancy to make sure everything was aligned for delivery. She told me that most of her patients, especially FTMs, went into labor sooner than other FTM since they tend to go over due date. She said it also shortens labor. On average her patients have 5-6 HR labors. I had 33+ hour labor but because my baby was posterior.

I read that moms with babies in posterior position go into spontaneous labor only 27% of the time. The other 73% have to be induced and I believe out of those, 70-something% end up in Csection.

I went into labor at 38weeks 3-4days and although it was extremely hard, I had him vaginally with no type of anesthesia or pain meds. I accredit it to the weekly adjustments I had. And it was my first baby.

I haven't gotten to the labor stage yet but I know that at the very least, adjustments make labor easier because everything is aligned properly! My sister went and got adjusted when she was in early labor and she said she thought it helped.

I think you just have to get a clearing from your doctor saying it's okay

I went to the chiro every other week during my pregnancy and that little sucker was still 8 days late 😂😂😂

I have scoliosis and have been on that adjustment schedule for at least 10 years now. My daughter must have just been stubborn

I've seen a Chiro for 20 years and throughout both pregnancies and have never heard this in my life.
