Is it too early?

I so badly want to start decorating for Christmas... Its just my husband and I and we don't have any decorations for Thanksgiving so to make it feel more like the holidays I would like to at least put up our tree... Not decorate it but just put it up... Would it be too early to out it up tomorrow?

There's no such thing as being too early for a holiday if you truly enjoy it. Hell, I'm usually planning and preparing my halloween costume as early as June. Who cares what other people think, do what you want. It's not hurting anyone.

My dad's side of the family has a tradition of puttin the tree up ON thanksgiving but this is mine and my husband's first Christmas together and since he's deployed I may start breaking out the Christmas stuff a lot earlier. I mean, I have to buy basically everything but I think it's never too early for Christmas! :)

My sister has a tradition of listening to Christmas music at the end of September until the beginning of January. If it makes you happy, why not? Decorate, listen to Christmas music, dance around with nothing but antlers on your head! Do what makes YOU happy!

My grandma already has her stuff going up, BUT she hosts Christmas parties at her house and her first one is on the second and thanksgiving will be at her house. Plus she's a homemaker with nothing better to do lol

My tree is up.. We just have to decorate it.. Thanksgiving is such a busy time so I did it lastnight and we will decorate it later in the week

Put up some lights or something! I know people with their trees up and decorated!

I wait until the day after thanksgiving but really you can do it whenever you want. It's not like there's a law on when we can or can't have Christmas decorations up. You could do it in July if you wanted.
