Miscarriage but hcg levels still rising?

Little recap:

On Friday I started spotting (I have had 2 previous miscarriages so I know what to expect) and my hcg level was at 99. On Sunday I was in alot of pain from cramps and have red blood and clots coming out and passed a clot the size of a half dollar. Still spotting today and was about to start clomid tomorrow. Well I decided to take a hpt and just see how far my levels have gone down. And my hpt was darker then before and my weeks estimator actually went up to the 2-3 weeks. So confused. Does anyone have any insight?
