Good morning mamas! I purchased a fetal doppler to use at home and I received it when I was 8 weeks exactly. I tried using it that day, the next day, and yesterday with no luck of hearing anything other than my own heart beat. I watched some YouTube videos on tips on how to find the baby's heart beat and one of them said what worked best for her was to do it first thing in the morning with an empty bladder and an empty stomach (so that way you don't have bloating and don't hear extra noises from digestion). So I decided to try it that way this morning (I am 8w6d) and it worked! It took me about half an hour of patiently looking. It was so wonderful to hear and I recorded it to be able to share it with my husband and our parents. Such a wonderful way to start the day! 😍
