Q : has anybody else had the birth control Nexplanon?

I just got mine removed because it made me gain weight, and horrible migraines! I've heard awful stories about that BC. so does anybody else have it? or know of another good birth control for me to use??

After I give birth im taking the pill. The birth controls that don't require any work made me lose 30 pounds. I'm guessing it was from the high amount of hormones that are injected into me. I weighed 85 lbs at 16 years old. I had the depo shot for 6 months and decided not to continue it. The nexplanon and depo shot are similar. From 16- now (21) I have not taken anything. We used the pull out method. Now being pregnant I'm guessing the hormone rule still applies cause up until now week 19 I've lost 8 pounds in the beginning of my pregnancy.
