Travel system stroller?

I might be wrong but I feel like I wouldn't use a stroller much.  For those of you who have had kids, did you get a lot of use out of your stroller? And do you recommend getting a travel system stroller?  For the new mom's, are you planning on getting a travel system stroller? Or stroller period?

My mom wore out 4 strollers! We're getting one for when baby is too big to wear, and a travel system is just the easiest way to get that. Easier for zoo trips and long walks too.

I never used a stroller it was such a waste of money with my first. This time I'm skipping the infant seat completely. to me i could just put my money to better use. I didn't use it as a carrier with my daughter. I baby wear. So I'm just buying a convertible seat.

Its useful. It helps alot especially as far as shopping. And going for walks nd other out door adventures.

I think a stroller is going to be useful but we are going in a odd direction with the whole idea. We are getting 2 convertible carseats and a normal jogging stroller. We don't like the travel system idea.

I'm a very active person, I'm pregnant now but I spend a lot of time with my neighbors 1.5 year old. I plan on baby wearing, but I'm also planning on buying the graco modes sport travel system. A. I do not want to have to get my sleeping new born out of the car seat into something else to go in somewhere, then I'm going to have a crying baby. B. I don't want to have to wear my baby while walking my dogs or when a walk to the local markets. C. A 25lb child is heavy after a while. And will not walk next to you and hold your hand. I will say the days my neighbor forgets the stroller, we really miss it.

300$ for something that is going to last me 4 years. Worth it!! And I can always resell the infant car seat when the baby is ready to move to the graco forever car seat.

I had a travel stroller with my 1st and I definitely recommend. It was so nice not having to unlatch my sleeping baby and try to put her in something else and wake her up.

We are always out and about and a stroller was awesome. I also baby wear but when it's super hot-u can forget that. Uncomfortable for both of us. Plus as a newborn taking them out of the car in their seat ASLEEP is super convenient. PLUS imagine being at a mall wearing your baby and carrying bags--I just throw all the bags on the stroller with a mommy hook or on the bottom and that's less I have to carry. My oldest will be three when this ones born and he still won't be old enough to handle long walks so the new stroller will have a place for him to sit as well.

We got the travel system because in the end it's cheaper. We don't use the stroller ALL the time, but it's nice to have. Now that my 1st is 17 months it's great for the park, the zoo, longer trips outside, etc. We didn't use that much when she was younger, but it just depends on your outside habits. Even if you don't think you'll use it much, look into it.

We also have an umbrella stroller now that she's older. ($25)

With my first one I had a travel system. I didn't use the stoller much and when I did it didnt work nearly as well as I had hoped...I eventually got a jogging stroller which we loved! But this time I also am planning on carrying and starting off with the convertible carseat!

We're getting a jogging travel system. Joggers are typically bigger than a traditional stroller but it just makes sense for us to have one because we run 20 to 40 miles a week depending on time of year. My husband wants to get both a traditional one and a jogger but money wise it doesn't make sense.
