UTI and OPKs

So I was having an issue with my opk and getting a reading. I ended finding out after a few days my issue was due to a UTI (I obviously had the typical UTI symptoms after the initial trouble with the reading). Has anyone ever had issue with getting a reading due to UTI? Now that I am on an antibiotic will it clear up and show me if I'm ovulating? I got the clear to have sex as long as I pee afterward.
