1 poop a day?

Question

My daughter is 9 days old. Yesterday, she only pooped twice, and today only once. The doctor told us she should be pooping in accordance to how many days old she is. 
So we should of expected at least 7 poops? But there was only 1 today and 2 yesterday. I've tried gripe water to see if she was constipated ... But nothing. Is this normal? Should I make a doctors appointment for her? What could I give her?

Lol my son poops once a day and is 8 months old. He's been doing so forever! What's normal for them may not be for every baby so try to best judge what's best for yours😊

Are you breastfeeding? The poo can very from once a day to everytime they eat. My girl is going once or twice a day at 5 days old. I'm more concerned about the lack of wet diapers. :-/

Our pediatrician said 2-4 poopy diapers and 6-8 wet diapers a day.

Ive never heard of pooping according to their age.. That seems excessive to me..  My kids always did once a day if not every other day
