32 week growth scan?

I went to my 30 week appointment today and after she measured my stomach she never told me how I was measuring like she normally does instead she said "your next appointment is in 2 weeks and at that one we will do a growth scan" I have had a few friends who have went to this same office and they did not get their growth scans until 36-37 weeks.. I feel like this is a little early for a growth scan seeing that I had a ultrasound at 26 weeks due to some loosing some of my mucus plug.
