So I posted about this few days ago, but I think I may have worded it wrong...

**TL;DR skip to end.**

I just started new BC pill called tri previfem because if I'm not taking any birth control at all I don't have any period at all. This is my first month taking this BC. Back in September last year I took my last pack of ortho tricyclen

***[which I cannot get anymore because the clinic I went to was a free clinic and I had to get health insurance for a difference medical emergency, and they said they could not cover me there since I had insurance now. I don't know why really]***

Anywho, October-march I had NO period at all. In march I thought I had started but I just had a tiny spot of blood and then nothing one night, then two nights later, same thing. It wasn't a period.

So I talk to my doctor, and she says we need to do a pap smear since I'd never had one done before. (I'm 20, and none of my doctors ever told me I needed a pap smear). I'm still waiting on the results from that, Which I had done nearly a month ago.

Skip to April 14th, I started my period, like normal, or so I thought. Symptoms were a bit stronger but I thought, "hey, its been 6 months since I had a period, so this is expected" right? Ok, so my period flow isn't really any heavier than normal either, I usually have a light flow. still true today. Which I'm still on this period.

Tl;dr I started new BC after 6 months of no BC (except condoms) & no periods. Always had irregular periods, so did my mom (adopted grandmother, idk my birth mom) I started on 4/14 and its been going for 9 days. This has never happened before when I've had to deal with being off BC for so long, so should I talk to my Dr and stop taking it?
