Traveling ?

so im currently 5 months pregnant and i just hade a traveling question ... once the baby is born when is it okay to travel with him ?? , my SO family lives 5 hours away ... and im just worried if we take him out to early like at 0 - 5 months im afraid he will get an iffection or something idk .

I asked a pediatrician and he said there's no such thing as too young to travel. He also mentioned I should take advantage of it since it's easier in the beginning. We're planning a road trip at 3-4 weeks to attend a wedding.

I think if your driving in your car and going to your familys you'd be OK. Just no pit stops at truck stops or anything. I'll be going to my doctors on Tuesday and asking the same question.. but I'll be (hopefully) traveling to Florida when the baby is about 2 months old.

Of course :) we took our son to another state to visit half of my family when he was about 2 months old. And we took him overseas (New Zealand, I'm Aussie) when he was 5 months old for 3 weeks. Was awesome fun, can't wait to do it again now he's older & can enjoy stuff
