When to see a doctor.

I know that a healthy couple should see a doctor after TTC for a year with no luck. I'm 33 and we started trying a year ago and no luck. However, there are some caveats. We did not have sex on my fertile week (and a few extra days) on purpose for 4 months because we were in Mexico and we heard it's not advisable to TTC while in an area with Zika. 3 months before that we had gone to a hot spring and were in it for two hours and we latter found out that that lessens the chances of conceiving. It sounds to us like 7 out of the 12 months were a lost cause so should we wait another 7 months before seeing a doctor? Should we see a doctor now? Should we wait another year?
