Contractions?!

So I'm basically a FTM, we lost our first baby at 5 months, so this is my first time going to term. I'm having really tight belly with pain that's lasting for some time now and it only eased up for a minute and is now back. Is this Braxton hicks or a contraction?!

Sounds like Braxton hicks.... Real contractions feel more like cramping, typically starting in your lower back and coming around to the front.... You'll definitely know the difference when you feel them ;)

For now, drink some water and have a lie down for a bit and hang in there....

Sounds like BH to me. Contractions feel like menstrual cramping.

If your WHOLE belly is getting hard it's a contraction usually.
