Pre-diabetes / Gestational diabetes

My doctor is very worried about my blood sugar levels. She says it can kill my baby. I have never gone beyond 193 mg/dl after meals. Is anyone else here going through this? I am taking metformin 750mg twice a day and 3 units of insulin twice a day. My doctor will see me again in 4 days and check if I need more insulin. I am limiting my food intake, still my blood sugar is going over 130. I really hope my baby is fine. I hope some of you can share successful pregnancy stories even with diabetes. Thanks!!!
