If you haven't done this yet and you have access to it. You should sign up for a short term disability insurance plan. The one I did had to be filled out a month before conception. You can get paid for your time out of work on top of pay you would get. I did mine through school and it's 40$ per month. My friend did one through her husbands insurance and she it really helped her out.
I've had to pay for 2 years but it's going to be worth it because it will help stay out 2 extra months. I'm a teacher and the way it works I wouldn't have enough sick days to cover my time since I used all of them with my son the first time around and because I'm new to the district
