When is cycle day 1

I spotted light brown yesterday, barely anything. Today, I have a heavy flow. Which is considered cycle day 1?

Today is CD1 for you. CD1 is the first day of flow heavy enough to have to wear a pad or tampon. As least that's what I've read. :)

Ok. Thanks yall. I was just wondering since I had heard cycle day 1 was when you first see blood. So I was confused.
