Idk what contractions feel like

I'll be 30 weeks on Tuesday with my second child, and I have no idea what a contraction feels like. When my son was born, almost 6 years ago, I had one contraction before my epidural was administered. So I honestly have no idea what it feels like and the nurses at my OB office says my stomach would be hard. But my stomach is always hard from the baby being in there lol. I get super sharp pains in my vaginal area sometimes but I think that's just baby being on a nerve. What does it feel like to you?
