Carnival Cruise Line

Fiance and I are planning our honeymoon. We are thinking about a Bahamas cruise. We found that Carnival is cheaper but I heard the food is terrible. I have only been on 1 cruise and it was on Royal Carribeans Majesty of the Seas and RC I know is very nice and the food was amazing. My question is..... Is the food ok ? And how was your experience.
