Yup. Maybe not remove but cover at least. I had a tattoo of my ex's name in an obvious spot. He and I both wanted it covered. Didnt need people seeing that in our wedding photos 😂 .... So yea I would think it would be fine to ask that of your partner. Now if they didnt want to cover it. Maybe they havent let go of their past.

Is it someone you're married to and the name is from someone they broke up with? If so then yes. If you're dating, then no I don't think it's fair to ask. Tattoo removal is expensive and very painful

Yes. My stepdad had his exes name but not my moms so eventually he got it covered up. But then left for a few months and came back with some new bitches name and her kinds name on him 🙄🙄👎👎

Who would put that on themselves in the first place!?  I adore my husband but i am STILL not tattooing anyone's name on my body no one owns me and thats what i feel like it means.

That's a horribly painful procedure. Probably be easier to get it covered up, or to find a partner who wasn't so insecure about a little ink.

I think its their body and if they really cared about you then they would not want to keep that tattoo any longer and would decide their self that they would cover it.
