My biggest pet peeve...

has got to be when people randomly make comments you don't care to hear like, "Oh you're pregnant? Better start sleeping while you can!" Or, "Goodluck trying to do your hair and makeup once the baby is here!" "Oh, that's such a cute outfit. Can't dress like that with a baby, you'll just end up with vomit and poop all over yourself." Or even, "Oh, you eat that? Just letting you know, but that makes your baby come out stupid..."
Um... First of all, I never asked for your opinion so if I'm minding my own buisness, I suggest you do the same. And on top of that, I understand I'm a first time mom and you're just "trying to be helpful", as you call it, but if you have nothing nice to say about motherhood then you shouldn't say anything at all. You should be giving positive and empowering advice, because even though my baby isn't here yet, everything I will go through with her is going to be worth it in my eyes, and I'd much rather prefer to learn on my own the struggle of motherhood. If that means I won't be able to put on makeup, brush my hair, or even sleep THEN SO BE IT. I'd care more about her well-being then my appearance anyway.
And when I say all this, I mean people in public. If I'm posting anything on the Internet, I'll obviously understand that more people are going to give their input, regardless if I ask them to or not. It's just really annoying and it comes off as rude.
Just really grinds my gears, #MustBeMyHormones
#SorryNotSorry? Lol.
