Sore tailbone?

Hollie
I'm almost 18 weeks and randomly in the middle of the day, it feels like I have a bruised tailbone. It wasn't like I exercised or slept weird, because it happened right in the middle of the day. I'm also not feeling this baby move quite yet, and I felt my first at 14 weeks. Wondering what thy symptoms sre from an anterior placenta? Wouldn't I have been told I had that by now though if that was the case? I guess it doesn't matter if I do have it, it's a normal thing, but I'm just curious. Also, I've had hip and back pain with both pregnancies, but this feeling in my tailbone is different. It's actually a little to the right of my tailbone.

OMG I had this last week and it sucked. It made me paranoid because at first it felt like painful pressure but then found the root cause of it & touched my tailbone. It's still bruised and I feel it, especially if I sit for long periods so I force myself to get up and walk around.

I started having this issue around the same time. Asked my doctor about it because it literally felt like I had borderline broke my tailbone and he said it's a part of the round ligament pain. He said there are ligaments connected between there and the uterus and with the stretching it's putting tension on the tailbone. Just rest with a heating pad to get relief.

I had the same thing. Heard women get sore tailbones in pregnancy and I thought that it was an old wives tale. Mine hurt from aroun 16weeks and I couldn't sit too long. Being a receptionist, I constantly was having to go between standing and sitting
