Am i the only one that does this

I literally get like two texts an hour from my boyfriend (only see him on weekends) I don't expect to hear from him all the time because he works. But if he texts me in the evening and he wants to take 25 mins or longer to text back i usually reply within the same time frame. But now i just stopped replying. Because what's the point of trying to have a conversation if they keep taking forever to reply??? I might as well would've sent him a letter in the mail lol....
