Braxton Hicks or baby kicks?

I've been experiencing frequent movements on the lower part of the belly. Not sure if my uterus is contracting, Braxton hicks and or is it because of the baby moving. Been trying to call my Obgyn but they're busy and haven't gotten back to me. I hear that early contraction means preterm labor. Anyone else going through this at 16 weeks?

Braxton Hicks are totally normal and by no means do they result in early labor. You'll be fine, as long as they aren't painful you shouldn't worry at all.

If u are having braxton hicks contractions then u will feel your belly get hard. Its a tightening. Movement is more sporadic.

Went to the doctor today n she said the baby is ok. Heartbeat at 155. Whew! I have to drink more water since dehydration can be the cause for Braxton Hicks also. I just don't like water these days lol. And thank you ladies for all your feedbacks!

They can definitely be braxton Hicks.. This is my 3rd and with every pregnancy they have started around 14 weeks and my doctor said they are normal (:

Braxton hicks belly will harden and they say to drink some water and lie down for an hour. If they go away then u are fine. If it doesn't go away and you keep contracting regularly then call your dr.
