Viability Ultrasound
Last week I went into my Dr after spotting. It was brief, light, and pinkish brown but I was concerned none-the-less. I had an ultrasound where I saw a gestational sac. My Dr said they saw a fetal pole, as well, but I did not. She also said I measured 6 weeks and 4 days. That's about a week ahead of my estimates. They didn't notice anything to be alarmed about and said my pregnancy looked normal. After the appointment, I had a blood draw for RH, HCG, and progesterone. My HCG result came back the next day and was 1558. I was told this was within normal range for my measurements but to go in the next day for a second HCG draw. Well, that result was in today. It was 1778 - not where they want it, not doubling. I was also told my progesterone (from my initial draw) was only 2.6. I haven't had any bleeding other than that one time. However, I don't feel as pregnant. My breasts are less tender and I'm not as tired as I was before; I never experienced nausea. I was scheduled a viability ultrasound for this Monday. Needless-to-say, I'm devastated. 6 more days of agony until I know more. Please keep me in your prayers.
