Had my hubby express my milk

Last night I asked my hubby to help express my milk because my baby didn't finish - and I'm so not gonna put myself at risk of mastitis again - no way! Well he had intense hiccups for the next 2hrs and nothing could help. Despite his love for my boobies he said he's never doing that again -.- . Now it makes sense why our baby is having crazy painful gas and not sleeping well lately. So what do I do? Is it my diet? (Nothing's really changed that I've noticed) or what? Anyone else have an experience like this?
