Zoloft while pregnant?

Hello ladies!  I am in my 13th week of my 3rd pregnancy. I was taking zoloft before I got pregnant but stopped as soon as we found out.  I am now struggling so much to make it through a day. Anxiety and depression are taking over and I fear that I'm not the only 1 being affected by it.  My dr told me it's safe to get back on the zoloft but I've also read things (Google is sometimes your enemy! ) so now I'm nervous to get back on it. Does anyone have any helpful insight on this matter?  Tia!

I take Zoloft and am coming up on my third trimester. I'm on a low dose. I've spoken with three midwives, a psychiatric nurse, a psychiatrist, two therapists and a family friend who is an OBGYN. All agreed wholeheartedly that it was the best decision in my situation.

The symptoms my daughter may face are minimal compared to what she would've faced had I gone through all of this depressed. I was teetering on killing myself. I was not okay and she was suffering.

Naturally, it goes case by case. If it is best for you and allows you to function better, it may be best for your baby too. Good luck and get better!

It is recommended that you stop taking Zoloft by your 3rd trimester to avoid newborn withdrawals.

Nooo zoloft! Ask your dr about Hydroxyz pam (hydroxyzine) much much safer i take it ... was diagnosed with manic anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder the only risk it has is making your nose dry lol

I'm on Sertraline (generic for Zoloft) and doctor says I'm fine to continue taking it during my pregnancy and during  breastfeeding.

My sister took the lowest dose possible while pregnant with no problems to the baby. Her obgyn prescribed it to her.

Trust your doctors, especially over anything or anyone on the internet lol. Going off anti depressants cold turkey can be super dangerous. If you're super worried get a second opinion from a different dr.
