Does age really matter?

I was forced to break up with my boyfriend who was 27 years older than me I'm 26. Due to my strict parenting and being threatened to be disowned if I did not do so. Currently going through a hard time he was there for in a lot of situations. I'm sad I didn't  fight for love. Just want to know your opinion.

Fight for the ones you love.  Your parents are your parents but you only get one true shot a loving someone and really loving them fiercely. Your parents can disown you but that shows you there character.  One way or another they will realize they are your family regardless of if you choose to be with him or be without.  They can't change that.

Call him back, fight for him. I'm involved in my own up hill battle with love and family.  Don't let anyone who has already lived their lives tell you how to live yours. If he makes you happy that's all that matters. Good luck.

My boyfriend is 7 years older than I am. Without a doubt people judge and ask how he could date someone so much younger. While we are in two completely different stages in life- I'm graduating high school, he's graduating college- all that really matters is the love that we share. True love only comes around once in a lifetime. Don't let other people take that away from you.

If you truly love him fight for him my parents were the same but I realized that my parents aren't going to live with him and enjoy life with him it's not about what they want   its what you want!
