So we are having a baby girl at the end of July. Unlike the big circumcision choice made immediately after birth we are looking at getting her ears pierced when she's a couple months old or wanting until she's old enough to decide. The reason I'm unsure of if I should do it or not is what if when she gets older she doesn't like it and wishes it wouldn't have been done. Obviously she wouldn't have to wear earrings so I guess it isn't that big of a deal but that's why I'm unsure if I should do it or not. The pros I see is she's for 1) be too young to remember the pain and 2) too young to take them out like I wanted to do for the night when I was 3 and got mine done. I didn't like the way they felt when I laid on them so I took them out for the night and obviously the next morning they were grew up so my mom made me wait a few years then I had them redone. Not asking for rude comments who think I'm a terrible person for sticking unnecessary needles in my baby just asking if people are planning on doing it while they're an infant or waiting until they're old enough to make the choice for themselves.
