Where are you from and how long did you breastfeed?

Everything is in the title ;) Just curious as I know the differences might be pretty big in between regions of the world.
I'm french myself and living in Belgium, been breastfeeding baby girl for the past 4 months and planning to continue for up to 2 years ideally (which is not common at all among my circle of friends).

I breastfed the first until he was almost 2 I had to deploy otherwise I would have done it until he was 2. This new baby is 5 weeks old and I plan on doing the same but this time around I'm not in the army anymore so I can make it to my goal 😊

Hello! I'm from the US, Indiana. Currently breastfeeding my 8.5 month old son. My goal is to make it to 1 year. If things are still going well, I'll continue until he weans himself. 1 year would be considered a long time amongst my group of friends, especially because I haven't had to supplement. I have a great supply and I know I am very lucky to be able to keep up. We just started TTC #2 and I worry if I do get pregnant if it will affect my supply...

I'm from LA and will be breastfeeding til she's like 1? Maybe even a bit longer.
I just think thats very important for mommy and baby to bound and especially for their developement so I'll do it til its not healthy for them 😂 or at least 1 and a few months

Ohio in the U.S. and my son just turned a year... not sure when we will stop, but I have introduced him to cow's milk just so I don't have to pump as much at work. I hope our nursing sessions will continue to about 18 months or so maybe... I'm not 100% sure.

I'm from Ontario, Canada and I breastfed for 2 whole years before my son decided to wean himself. I would have loved to do it longer but he didn't seem to care for it. It might have been my milk tasting different because I got pregnant again. I'm hoping to breastfeed my daughter for 2-3 years :)

I'm from CT and so far we are at 4.5months. My short term goal is 6months, then 1year. After that, when ever he decides to stop on his own. I'd love to make it to 2years though.

I am from Southern California, my daughter is 5.5 months and EBF since day 1. I plan on letting her wean herself. The bond is so amazing. If I get pregnant soon we are hoping to breastfeed through pregnancy and tandem feed if she hasn't weaned herself.
