After csection how long did you wait before having intercourse?

I'm currently 2 weeks pp and had a csection. My fiance and I are really wanting to have intercourse again but I'm afraid it's too soon so I've been making him wait especially since this is my second csection and from my understanding is the risk increase for infection with each csection you have. Please any advice would be great thanks

Don't worry about him at the moment. Focus on you. You are recovering from major surgery.

I am a little over 5 weeks and ive tried a couple times since 4 weeks and its been too uncomfortable and a little painful so we stopped and will try again whenever. I really think whenever you feel ready. Just listen to your body and dont push yourself :)

Just wait until your doctor gives you the go ahead. It's not worth splitting yourself back open and it's not worth an infection. Sex isn't that important

7 weeks. Got released at 6 weeks. I can't even imagine trying at two weeks. Way too much movement and I would really fear tearing something. I bled for 6 weeks to. No way would I risk an infection or tear. Sex is not more important than my health.
