OPK newbie.... What to do?

Question

So I said I weren't going to do this (doing ovulation test and checking bbt), I feel I'm becoming a bit obsessive now. However I have been told that tracking is the best way to get pregnant.

I've just purchased a pack of opk from amazon waiting for them to arrive.

What is it that I actually do?

When? What? How? And how often?

I need answers pls.

Depending on your cycle length, you start taking the opk at around CD7-10. I took mine once a day until my fertile window (per Glow calculations). Once I entered my window I took one every twelve hours until I got a positive. Don't be worried if your lines get light then dark then light again before you ovulate. It's normal to have some hormone in your system. When the test line is the same darkness as the control line, it's positive. Also, don't use FMU like you would for HPT. It can skew results. I got the Babi one step opk pack from Amazon. You just pee in a cup, dip the stick in for 10 seconds exactly, then wait ten minutes. Check the result and log it in your app. Your test will also have directions on how to use and read it. I was against doing all the charting also, but it really does help to narrow down when you ovulate. It also may be a good idea to get 1-2 other fertility apps and log your data there. It gives you a way to cross-check your fertile days. Good luck and ?✨.
