Questions about ovulation?

So my husband and I had a miscarriage late last year. Well we decided we didn't want to "try" but we aren't preventing either. We just would like it to be a surprise whenever it happens. Well I broke down and took an ovulation test about five minutes ago. And it's very positive. We talked last night and decided we do want children but I think we are scared to really try as we don't want to suffer another miscarriage. We bd yesterday. And got the very positive five min ago. There's no way we could bd today as he has work. Maybe tmrw. But would you ladies think it's possible that bd yesterday will be good enough? Or would you think I'm out?
