Stale taste???

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and everything I eat or drink tastes stale to me. It's driving me crazy cause I feel like it's making my nausea worse. I can't drink water anymore and even tho I barely drink soda I tried some Coke but even that tasted stale. Also I can't get rid off the taste in my mouth no matter how much I brush my teeth or how much listerine I use. I read online about a metallic taste being normal in pregnancy but mine isn't metallic at all... Anyone else went thru this and has some tips?
