Is anyone else flooded with so many medical bills they are losing any sense of security they had before baby is born.  I opted to do a nuchal translucency screening because my doctor suggested it. My insurance is now not paying for it and it costs 4700$. Top this off with a 555$ monthly bill I have to pay to my doctor  to have my birth paid off by month 7. I also went to ER and now got 800$ bill. I mean is this normal? What is insurance covering? I know my monthly bill doesn't cover any hospital stays, Epidural, circumsion, Etc. just wondering is this normal? I thought I had good insurance.
