Ovulation questions

My husband and I had a miscarriage late last year . We do want children, but we are afraid to really try as we don't want it to happen again. We bd yesterday and I got a very positive ovulation test this morning. Would you think I have a chance? We can't bd today because he is working (military) won't be home till tmrw. Is yesterday bd enough?
