Bad breath?

Hey everyone!

So I have a strange question - my husband told me today that for the past couple of days I've had bad breath 🙊 He said it was so striking because I've never had bad breath before! Has anyone else had this - it is just me or a pregnancy symptom? I'm 9w1d.

Are you having sinus drainage at all? Sinus problems in pregnancy are very common & sinus breath can be kinda yucky sometimes.

Perhaps dehydration? You need much more water during pregnancy to accomidate the rising blood volume.

Is it a tonsil stone maybe? Take a mirror and use some light maybe cell phone flash light and look in the back of your throat and tonsil areas for what looks like a white or yellowish "ball".. Smells like death and if you have any old food stuck back there this is what normally happens.

I think this happens and it's normal because dental hygiene is really important when you're pregnant. Your mouth could just be dry which causes bad breath
