Coughing up blood? Advice pls

Has anyone randomly had a blood a nose that wasn't heavy, but found themselves coughing up blood which was quite stringy and more then what come out the nose?
Im 18 weeks and 3, and booked into the doctors at 4.45 but been demanded best rest.

I had two bloody noses last week. Came out of nowhere. With the dry weather + pregnancy it's a tough combo. My guess? You got some post nasal drip from a bloody nose and your body is just coughing it out. 
I am no doctor though. Good luck when you go in!!!

Early on this pregnancy I would have blood in my vomit which came from broken blood vessels in my throat, have you thrown up recently?

I have had bloody noses during this pregnancy but we have more blood being pumped through our bodies. It doesn't hurt to mention it to your doc. If you have had a cough or throat irritation I could see a scant amount being ok but it is not normal to cough up blood.

I know that we make more blood when we are pregnant so maybe that's why but I would do as advised while you wait for your appointment.
