Choosing a hospital to deliver at

So I live right across the street from a hospital, but I absolutely hate this hospital with how crappy their service is. Just plain ghetto. I wouldn't want to deliver my baby there unless I HAD to, like there's no way I'd make it to another hospital in time without having my baby.

However, the hospital I was born at which is pretty much the best hospital you can go to to deliver your baby is a 44 minute drive from my home.

I really want to deliver there but I feel like it's not safe. Theres also a okayish hospital like 20 minutes away, where my mom had my brother and she said is was a pleasant experience with how comfortable and homey her room was. But there's only bad reviews on this hospital doing deliveries.

Is it a bad idea to choose a hospital that far from me? how do I choose one?
