Am I wrong?

My child's father has a child with another woman prior to our baby that is on the way. He doesn't seem as excited to be having a child with me like he was with her. Me and him both knew the consequences of our sexual relationship, however he's not reacting to the concerns of thw child like I think he should. Am I wrong for asking him if he wants a relationship with the baby or not? Also is it wrong to ask him if he does not want a relationship, to stay away completely?
