Difference between opk and fertility monitor? Which one to get?

So I bought clear blue digital opk and then I found out about fertility monitors.. Not only that I also found out about clear blue's ADVANCED digital opk.. Which should I be using? My husband travels a lot for work just as a reference..thanks
