What do you think of her name?

My fiance and I have been going back and fourth for literally my entire pregnancy. I'm 31 weeks with baby girl #2. Her daddy LOVES the name Calliope (Kuh-lie-oh-pea) I haven't really been that fond of it, but agreed to it and have been calling her Cali. We decided not to tell anyone her nsme until she's born. Just wanting some opinions, if you think I should change it since we haven't told anyone yet?

I know someone that named their daughter that and they call her Cali which I think is cute. It just makes me think of Dr. Torez on Grey's Anatomy and her not wanting to tell people what her first name is... Which is Calliope.

I have a friend that recently named her baby that and some people call her Callie and some call her Poppy. I think it is adorable!

Cali is cute.. The whole name is not... Remember she wont have a pronunciation key in real life!

If he likes that why not just call her Callie, Cali, or Kali?  My real name is Kali and it isn't short for anything.

I feel like she would grow up not liking it. It's a difficult name to pronounce and I'm sure everytime she'd go somewhere no one would know how to pronounce it and when she says her name no one would know how to spell it.

I prefer Calliope over Cali. Cali has become so common it's losing the cuteness! I like the nickname Poppy that someone else said, so adorable!

I love the name you guys picked. I say stick with it. It's different and very cute. You could always nick name her Miss. P. My friend named her daughter Penelope and they call her Miss. P. It would really hurt your husband's feeling if you try to change it now.

So we are in the same situation but I absolutely hate calliope so she will just be going by Callie and won't be announcing until birth haha
