Men!!!

So me and my partner have been together five years now and I've not been taking the pill now for about six months, nothing has happened yet but he all of a sudden doesn't seem to be wanting sex as much because "it's to much effort" so I asked him yesterday does he really want a child or does he even want to get married (my dream) he said he doesn't want to get married not for at least another 5 years and kids if it happened it happened but doesn't mind! Didn't say this six months ago!!! Luckily I'm not pregnant! But now I'm thinking who is this man? And what am I doing?
