Wrong due date?

I'm 28 weeks and the last 3 appointments I've been to I've been measuring at 2-3 weeks ahead. Do they ever get it wrong or do I just have a chunkster on my hands??

Could be both.  Did you have an early ultrasound?  Those are very accurate.

They say that the early sono is most accurate with measurements and giving due date. im 28 weeks but he measures 30 weeks. He's just gonna be a chunky baby is all. At 27 weeks mine weighed 3 lbs already. A due date is only a estimate.. Could be give or take 2 weeks.. But I say your just having a big baby like myself.

Either a chunky baby or possible extra fluid. My sister had a lot of extra fluid with her second child.

I am measuring slightly ahead as far as the external measurements, but the baby is measuring small and my dating is spot-on. It could be amniotic fluid, or just how you're built. I wouldn't be too concerned :)

Depends on when you ovulate honestly. They base it on normal ovulation which is generally about two weeks after the first day of your last period. For me, I know the exact day I got pregnant and it was the last day of my period. They changed my date once they saw the growth ultra sound matched up with the date I told them.
