It's go time!

Tuesday around 3pm I had my 38 week appointment at 38+1. Doc checked my cervix 2.5cm and swept my membranes. That night I was having pain that was unbearable from him checking me. Wednesday morning came and I felt amazing. No more pain! So I got up and did the dishes and swept my floors and went back to bed where I felt so tired yet could not take a nap for the life of me! My husband called about 4 times throughout the day asking "is my son coming yet?" He was so anxious. He got home around 6pm and we put on the Astros pregame. Around 7pm when the game started I started having painless contractions about every 5 minutes. Around 9:30 I decided to start timing them. They were 2-3 minutes apart for about half an hour then they started coming 1-2 minutes apart. I called my Dr office and they told me to go into L&D. Got to L&D and checked in by 11pm cervix dilated to a 5. So far that's the last time they checked me. I hadn't had any pain so I went to sleep at 3:15am Thursday May 5 I woke up to pain at about a 7-8. Nurses had me walk. I'm back on the monitors waiting for time to push. :) so happy I'm about to meet my man that the pain isn't phasing me as much as I thought it would.
