Any advice for potty training ?

This is for a friend of mine. She has a 3 1/2 year old daughter .. Who still is NOT potty trained she just throws a diaper on her and lets her be on her way not even a pull up . .& she does have a potty at home that is now being used as a hot tub for her dolls lol when I go over I try my hardest to get her to use the toilet but she's not having it. My friend seriously just thinks she'll learn/go on her own when she's ready... What do u ladies think?

I'm a nanny and have worked in childcare for years. Try other ways round it, such as reading books and find some toilet song in the iPad or something. Get a sticker chart but let her pick it all out and make it clear she only gets a sticker if she goes to the toilet. Maybe hide the nappies so they can't be seen as well. Lots of praise is always really good ! Hope some of it helps 😊

What I did with my kids was not put a diaper on and let them run around the house with no diaper only a shirt and socks that way they get use to it. And they can learn to go . I use to also bring my kids in the bathroom with me to show them how to sit down I have two boys turning 3&5 this year

As soon as my boys turned 2 I got rid of all diapers. I let them run naked and every 20 minutes I had them on the potty and when they went pee or poo I gave them a skittle or m&m. Once they got that down I switched to a chart and if they went all day with no accidents they got a dum dum after dinner. They were both potty trained completely by 3yrs.
