A lump? 🙁

So a few months back I noticed a little raise in bone on the top of my hand and brought it up to my mother in law who said it's probably a bone bump / growth and that they are harmless. Well it's been a few months and it's gotten a bit bigger, it's itchy sometimes and tender as well. Has anyone every experienced this before? Should I go to a walk in clinic? I'm starting to worry
